some visual filters used in photography
Some night ago, I want to test how works some visual filters, I have in my bag for a long time used in photography.
The test is about
* Lumicon OIII
* Lumicon UHC
* Red filter
The subject is the core of M42 nebula, direct focus of enewton2 telescope, ZWO ASI290MM 100 frames of 0.6sec each.

This the result, the moon, almost full was very near to the subject. This cheaper instrument works well, the main pain point is its curved focal plane, bottom a detail of the angles before the cropping.
Mineral moon
This panel is a mosaic of 2 sequences. Each sequence is of 100 shoots. This kind of processing emphasizes the weak coloring of minerals.

Plato and Vallis alpes
This is for sure one of the most beautiful view of the moon, Plato on the left and the vallis alpes on the right.
It has a diameter of 100Km, the central crater is only of 10Km, it is one of the shorter crater with only 1.3Km of depth.
A curiosity is that this valley was discovered in 1727 by Francesco Bianchini and has magmatic origin
Copernicus crater
Copernicus is for sure one of the most photographed craters on the moon, 93 Km of diameter has ‘only’ 800 million years old. The central peak is only 1.3Km and is one of the most studied create by the NASA.
Tycho crater
Clavius crater
Clavius is for sure one of the most photographed subjects on the moon, 230Km of diameter it is dedicated to Christopher Clavius a mathematician of XV century. It appears stretched due to his meridian position and it is one of the oldest know craters.
